Hope you all had a smashing Christmas! I most certainly had a wonderful one and got the best gift ever. Money HAHAHA. Wow that was my inner scrooge McDuck coming out!
My lovely aunt and cousins got me a voucher for Debenhams. I was so happy to get this as for the longest time I wanted to get some higher end make up primer!
Of course I was not going to wait until a respectable time to spend my money. So I headed to
Debenhams and went straight to the Urban Decay counter.
I am in desperate need of setting spray so the first thing I got was the Urban Decay All nighter spray. I have heard amazing things about this on YouTube and well pretty much everywhere!
So I tried this bad boy a few days ago, to see how it would fair on my rather oily complexion.
I have to say, I was more than impressed. I was a bit sceptical about whether it actually keeps your makeup on your face for a long period, but my gosh it really works.
The spray is lightweight and takes away that horrible caked on look, especially because I have to bake so i don't end up with creased under eyes.
The product smells amazing and I am just so happy to have it.
I previously used Avon setting spray which was great to rid myself of powder, but just did not last very long at all. I am now a convert. When it comes to primers and setting sprays, you really need to make sure you have quality. Mind you I still stand by my love for George face primer. It is packed with Glycerine, so it makes sure my make up sticks to it and not move an inch!
I also needed some sort of eyeshadow primer. I was going to buy urban decay primer, but I took too long to decide which one, so ended up being shooed away. Fine whatever!
Then I saw a sale sign above Benefit, as if it was a sign. I ended up buying the Stay don't stray! I was super excited to try this. To be honest buying it was the first time I ever even heard of it.
This product can be used on both your lid and under the eye. You just dot it on a few times, then blend in with your 3rd finger.
It leave a tacky base for your makeup to be applied on top.
This stuff is just everything. I have a huge problem with eyeshadow and concealer creasing after an hour or so. But not anymore. My shadow, liner, concealer and powder stays put like a dream.
I am so glad a bought these items and didn't wait. They feel lightweight and not cakey, but they leave my make up flawless for hours. Whether I get dewy (sweaty) throughout the day or it starts raining, my make up stays put!
Now all I need is a product that will do this for my massive lips!!
