New Protective Style - Unbe-wig-able

Hey Peeps!

So the Crochet braids are more. To be honest I haven't had them for about a month now. I have been sporting the mighty wig. Hey, if BeyoncĂ© can do it, then so can I! I will not be going beck to anything else, that's for sure! I love the lace front wig! I have definitely been converted!!

So as we all know, I'm a bit of a frugal Fran. I love a bargain, so of course I had to try my luck with getting a cheaper version of the lace front. Don't get me wrong, the human hair ones are gorgeous and definitely my wig goals, but I got rent to pay so I can't be spending my rent money on a wig. Trust me when I tell you that if I got a decent one, it would probably cost what I pay in rent. So to have the best of both worlds and get a variety without bankrupting myself, I took to EBay. Yes I was very apprehensive doing this. I have had seriously ridiculous experiences of this, but I just had to at least try!

Gorgeous body wave, hair texture is silky soft
I bought this gorgeous unit from Afrotraders. Click this link to check it out. This unit is technically an L part wig, so you can have some leave out to blend it. My hair is natural so for me a leave out with this kind of wave would just look weird, so I kept the lace closure in tact.

I love this unit because there is no need for bobby pins, tape or glue. There are several combs throughout the unit along with adjustable straps. This unit feels secure and easily blends, to look natural.

The hair itself is synthetic, very good quality, soft and shiny. Unfortunately it can not be used with heat. So no straighteners or curling irons I'm afraid! But this is a small price to pay because the curl is just beautiful!

front section of hair trimmed for a youthful fringe look
I use this wig for my everyday, effortless style. Manly because  the fact that it is secure, means i can be comfortable and not have to carry the extra weight of a million bobby pins.

I trimmed the front to give myself a nice side-swept fringe. This was the style I adopted back in the day when I rocked the relaxer look. But you can wear the parting in the middle or either side.

This wig has been amazing. It is so versatile and soft, people literally thought I just had clip in extension in.

To maintain it, I suggest washing gently in cook water with a mild shampoo. Do not scrunch or rub the strands together, just finger comb. Then air dry.

So far this wig has been my staple for a good month now and it still looks luscious!

I have bought a couple of statement 'Wow' factor wigs, so watch this space for when I go out or head to an event.

Watch this space for my review on those.

Until next time peeps!!! SSLLLLAAAAAAYYYYYY XXX
