OOTD: Regent's Park Run
Hey Peeps!
So yesterday I took part and completed the Regents Park run, with my fellow British Beauty Curve Sisters, Charlotte, Nicole, Kim, Emma and the reigning queen Kat. I had am amazing time. Unfortunately the weather wasn't the greatest, with it raining for the last 5k of our walk. Luckily my girl Emma at 'Bow Chic' hooked my up with some comfortable and warm clothes fit for a queen!
So I decided to wear this gorgeous sweatsuit. I have not worn a sweatsuit since I was a kid and I can honestly not work out why!
It's lined with fleece, so it's lovely and warm when the weather is chilly. It was very much so yesterday. It can also be good for a transition into spring.
We all know the weather in this country can leave a lot to be desired, so I found wearing the tracksuit with a small jacket or just on it's own was great for when the temperature gets into the double digits.
Both the sweatshirt and pants have studded embellishments. I loved this as it made it less 'I can't be bothered' and more 'I meant to do this!'
The embellishments are in the pattern of wings, just are still quite subtle so you can make the pants great for a post workout loungewear outfit or a great comfortable travel duo. I often travel to visit friends or go to events around the country, and I like to feel like I'm just chilling at home. This outfit is a great way to lounge without sitting in just your underwear lol.
I also have this in black. I have to admit, I prefer it in black because, well it make me feel like I'm in a Shaun T Cize video lol. It couple it with my wedge hi tops and beanie and I feel great!
The only downside for me is the sizing. the two outfits are in the same size, but there are very different sizes. I find the black it a lot more fitted. I prefer this as it gives it a more trendy/ smart look. The grey is great for lounging as it's slouch, but I couldn't imagine myself going out shopping wearing it.
Another thing is that like jeans, these tend to get looser the longer you wear them. I found that by the time I was travelling home (think i would have been wearing the outfit for about 9 hours) The pants were falling down and very baggy and the top was a lot baggier. This is great if you want the slouch look, but if you are looking for a more tailored look, it may not work.
All in all, I love how the outfit is comfortable and unique and it served me very well, to keep me warm and insulated for the 10k walk!
Thanks so much bow chic for letting me try this out!

March Glossybox Has Arrived - Unboxing time!
Hey Peeps,
So I'm back in the blogging game after neglecting you guys for a while. So this week I got a nice little package in the post. The mighty and beautiful Glossybox again. yes I know I have already done a post about it, but I love this month's box so much I had to share my thoughts with you.
So here is what came in the post for me!
As usual there are 5 products, a mixture of full size and travel sized.
There is the usual formal of skin care, hair care and make up products. I have to admit, I like to keep it pretty simple with my skin care so I tend to focus mainly on the hair and make up products.
My friends often get lumbered with all my skincare cast offs. Hey, a girl has to be careful. I break out way too easily, so I have no time at all for break outs and allergic reactions.
Anyway, lets check out the contents shall we??
Inside March's box you will find:
417 Catharsis Vitamin Mineral Shampoo and Conditioner - This is not a sulfate Free shampoo, but it makes an amazing clarifying shampoo. As you know, my hair is natural afro, so it is prone to breakage and naturally dry. I have to make a great effort to keep moisture in the hair. I found this shampoo great as a clarifier, which I use fortnightly to washout product build up. A little goes a long way. The bottle is travel sized, but I feel it has a good 2 maybe even 3 washes in it, depending on how much build up you have. The conditioner has a ver thin consistency, so I didn't use it with the shampoo. I think if you have thin hair, it would be a good match, but for my afro I found it was a great conditioner for a co-wash. I actually also tried it as a leave in conditioner by just applying a dime size to my hair when dry. It was brilliant for that. It did not clump or react strangely when I applied gel and coconut oil. So it is a great alternative to a leave in conditioner (even though that is not what it is technically for).
Hey Honey Good Morning Honey Silk Facial Serum - As I said before, I am not really one for changing my skincare regime, so I have to be honest and tell you I have not tried this. It is supposed to be suitable for all skin types and can double up as a base for make up, allowing for a smooth foundation. Sorry hey honey, I will have to take your word for it.
Olay Regenerist Skin Tone perfect Cream - Again, I'm not about changing my skin care regime, but I did try this one on my hand (I know live on the wild side right haha). The consistency is a little thicker than I imagined it would be but it leaves our skin smooth and hydrated. This and the facial serum are both travel size. I can imagine these would be good to carry in your luggage for an overnight stay. I feel this product goes a long way, so you definitely don't need to go crazy when you apply it.
Now for the full sized products and by far my favourite in this month;s box!
Collection Speedy Highlighter in Pearl Sheen - This is just the one. I have died and gone to heaven with this. Way to come through Collection!! This is the most beautiful colour and so easy to use! It has the most beautiful shimmer and when you use this, you will be mistaken for an angel! The glow it gives
you is just out of this world. I used this when I went to an event at the weekend (check out my Instagram for pictures). There was absolutely no need for a powder highlight. You simple swipe and blend! It applies a little creamy, but turns to powder. It is amazingly pigmented, so you do not have to scrub it on. This will quickly be one of my favourites.
Luxie 504 Large Angled brush - It is a soft, but dense angle brush. at first glance I thought it was a kabuki brush as it it a little firm, but when you use it is super soft. you can use it to fleck your contour, but as she are quickly heading into the strobing season it can be used to apply cheek highlight. The denseness gives you the precision you need but it is soft enough to allow you to blend effortlessly.
Overall I have to say I am so impressed with this month's box. I am ecstatic for the make up products. Glossy box you have provided me with my March favourites and for that I thank you!
Don't forget to check out my Instagram profile (Bighealthytracey) to check out my face after using the highlighter!

Tis the season to strobe!
Hi Peeps
Hope you are are amazing was usual! So I have noticed that strobing is back. Colour pop, Becca Cosmetics, Mac to name a few have been stepping up their highlighting game. Even others like my favourite Jeffery Star is bringing out a range.
I love the whole concept of strobing. I tried it over the summer period and aside from a little bronzer, I have pretty much kept to the same regiment.
I am so excited that it is making a come back and no drug store labels have gotten in on the deal. This morning alone I came across Make-up Revolution and their strobing line. As we all know, I absolutely love their highlighter and the gold radiance it gives me. I am so excited to try their strobing range!
So this spring I will be testing out the strobing line and posting a review on my youtube channel.
Make up revolution are a very affordable range and one of my favourites. The eyeshadow palettes are super pigmented and well I just love the highlighter. I live for that highlighter!
Coming from a small town in the UK I am used to never really finding makeup suited for my skin type and colour. A lot of the drugstore brands (even though I know for a fact that they supply make up for dark skin tones) do not stock products for dark skin women. We have to go to a specialist dark skin retailer (and this is 2016).
So I had to take to the wonderful internet. This is where I found Make up revolution.
Anyways. I can not wait for Spring to arrive and to get back into the Strobing season.
Watch this space or my go to spring make up look!
Until Next time peeps!!
