Hey Peeps!
So yesterday I took part and completed the Regents Park run, with my fellow British Beauty Curve Sisters, Charlotte, Nicole, Kim, Emma and the reigning queen Kat. I had am amazing time. Unfortunately the weather wasn't the greatest, with it raining for the last 5k of our walk. Luckily my girl Emma at 'Bow Chic' hooked my up with some comfortable and warm clothes fit for a queen!
So I decided to wear this gorgeous sweatsuit. I have not worn a sweatsuit since I was a kid and I can honestly not work out why!
It's lined with fleece, so it's lovely and warm when the weather is chilly. It was very much so yesterday. It can also be good for a transition into spring.
We all know the weather in this country can leave a lot to be desired, so I found wearing the tracksuit with a small jacket or just on it's own was great for when the temperature gets into the double digits.
Both the sweatshirt and pants have studded embellishments. I loved this as it made it less 'I can't be bothered' and more 'I meant to do this!'
The embellishments are in the pattern of wings, just are still quite subtle so you can make the pants great for a post workout loungewear outfit or a great comfortable travel duo. I often travel to visit friends or go to events around the country, and I like to feel like I'm just chilling at home. This outfit is a great way to lounge without sitting in just your underwear lol.
I also have this in black. I have to admit, I prefer it in black because, well it make me feel like I'm in a Shaun T Cize video lol. It couple it with my wedge hi tops and beanie and I feel great!
The only downside for me is the sizing. the two outfits are in the same size, but there are very different sizes. I find the black it a lot more fitted. I prefer this as it gives it a more trendy/ smart look. The grey is great for lounging as it's slouch, but I couldn't imagine myself going out shopping wearing it.
Another thing is that like jeans, these tend to get looser the longer you wear them. I found that by the time I was travelling home (think i would have been wearing the outfit for about 9 hours) The pants were falling down and very baggy and the top was a lot baggier. This is great if you want the slouch look, but if you are looking for a more tailored look, it may not work.
All in all, I love how the outfit is comfortable and unique and it served me very well, to keep me warm and insulated for the 10k walk!
Thanks so much bow chic for letting me try this out!
